My name is Graham Doessel.
I am the Founder and CEO of Mortgage Now
Having been in difficult financial situations in the past, with a family to support and a mortgage to pay, I understood how difficult and frustrating it can be at times when your situation is ‘outside the norm’.
Because of this, in 2003, I started Mortgage Now with the desire to help people that would otherwise not be able to access the services they needed.
At Mortgage Now we understand that self employed people may have difficulty proving their income, sometimes circumstances beyond our control leave us with ‘black’ marks on our credit file. We can & will do everything we can to help you.
I am based in Brisbane and actively involved in all aspects of the day to day operations nationally.
I am very happily married to my gorgeous wife Helen, and have been since 1997.
I have and am very proud of my 3 beautiful children.
I enjoy dining with friends, spending time with my family and one day I will set aside the time and get my private pilots license.

Meet Our Team…
I started working for Mortgage Now in November 2005 as the receptionist, becoming team member number five. I was also responsible for taking new client details. In 2006 I moved into the loans processing department and am currently working as the Office Manager and PA to the CEO. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, socializing with friends, watching movies and playing with my dog.
I am 15 years old, turning 16 in October. I joined the Mortgage Now team on the 1st of June 2007, as the Office Junior, this is my first job coming out of high school. I am currently the second newest member of the team. On the weekends and in my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, watching movies and shopping. In the future I would like to do a lot of traveling, particularly around Canada.
I am currently 17 years old. I completed year 12 at Bray Park State High School in 2006. I completed my hospitality certificate in 2006 and before then I was working in various locations doing hospitality and floristry work. I also have done voluntary work for the elderly. I am now waiting to commence my University Degree with Australian Open Universities studying my Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice and Criminology. Throughout my years of working I have always been highly commended on my hard work and customer service skills.
I am currently 18 years old and have had 5 years of customer service experience. I started work for Mortgage Now in April 2006 as an office junior. Since then I have moved to full time Reception work and in February this year I started loans processing. At work I enjoy being challenged, helping people and having a laugh. I never expected to end up in the finance industry but it gives me a great deal of satisfaction, especially working in a niche market and being able to help people that the banks won’t.
I started working for Mortgage Now in January 2007 as part of the I.T Support team. I am also responsible for updating and maintenance of website details. I am enjoying my time with Mortgage Now using it to gain valuable experience in my chosen career choice. In my spare time I enjoy chilling out and watching TV.
I was born on 24th of September 1978 in India. Before coming to Australia to pursue my Masters in Accounting from Central Queensland University, I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Masters of Commerce (MCom) in India. In 2006, I completed my Masters in Accounting and have been fortunate enough to get an opportunity to work as part of The Now Group at the start of my career. Previously I have worked as an Office Co-ordinator and assistant in India. I consider myself as a simple non complicated person, very hard working, honest and believe in the fact that if you respect your work, the work will respect you and will help you in achieving your future endeavors.
I am 33 years young. I have been in the customer service industry for 10 years. My philosophy is to give the customer the same level of service that you would expect to receive if you were the customer. My previous employment has been in many different fields, some are, security industry, fishing trawlers, motor mechanic, debt recovery, Carpet Call, Combined Insurance and many others. Until two years ago I wasn’t sure were I was heading as far a career goes, all I had managed to do up until then was eliminate what I didn’t want to do. I stumbled on mortgage refinancing and found that I was very good at and that I also received job satisfaction from the industry. My hope is to own my own Mortgage Now franchise or to have my own mortgage refinancing firm.
I am 51 years old and have had 35 years in customer servicing from working in service stations, china and glassware shops to the mechanical industry. I have had several businesses over the years from wholesaling china and glassware, car sales and recently automotive parts reconditioning. All through my life I have tried very hard to make the customer number 1 priority and assist them in their endeavors as much as I possibly can.
